Union Fair 2011

Saturday night we had an impromptu family date night at our local Union State Fair.  This has always been one of my favorite fairs - I'm not sure if it is the familiar faces, smaller venue, or manageable size, but altogether it ROCKS!
Dad and Brody in our inaugural Ferris Wheel ride - usually the first event of our fair.

 The views from on high!

"Mommy, now I'm Wolverine!" says my superhero-obsessed-soon-to-be-kindergartener.

The "scary ride"

I don't think Logan knew what he was in for - at the end I could hear him calling "I don't want to do this ride anymore!"...and it justified about 18 rounds of "Mommy, can I sleep in your bed???" post-fair.

Happy bees - can you tell how overstimulated Brody is?  He literally bounced from ride to ride.

The prize of the night - BATMAN!

This slide was indeed a favorite of both boys - I lost count of the number of turns they took - well worth the ride bracelet investment.

Wow - how did they grow big enough to ride on their own???
Thanks, Union, for an amazing night.
