White Christmas

I still can't believe how very little snow has fallen in Maine this winter, yet the last 2 days have provided the perfect for Christmas.  We were even gifted a constant sprinkling of snow all day today.

So very beautiful, and nice to able to be home and not have to travel on slick roads.

Our eve began quietly, with stockings hung with care...
And some very excited little boys sporting some new Christmas PJ's

And then, the big man was in the house....

boy, did he visit.

and he left me such a lovely necklace...my new favorite:

so grateful for such a wonderful day

Hope yours was just as merry!

Gingerbread Express

Gingerbread decorating proved a smidge easier than in previous years - either the kids are getting easier or my apathy is growing...
And one cute wrangler to boot.
