Visits and more

It has been a very busy, very full last 6 weeks.  Our garden has grown monstrously, as have our children.  While Grandmommy visited, we officially moved Logan into his big boy bed...it didn't seem to stifle his 5:30am internal alarm clock, however.
Logan's first night in his big boy bed
And we have begun harvesting in the garden, in which we apparently planted too many green beans...ugh...more bush beans and still the pole beans to come.  I'll appreciate this in February.
And peppers, onion and peas...yum!
Just a really lovely sunset over our farm
We also enjoyed a week with Gigi, who is proudly sporting her baby bump...can't wait to meet you,
Baby Claire...

Newest addition - Solo

Our  expectant cow, Lady, finally delivery her baby - a healthy little red bull calf.  We didn't know she had  given birth, and when the cows were brought into the barn Sunday, it was without a baby...the next mornign, Duane nearly tripped over this little guy in the pasture.  Since he spent his first night alone, Solo seems an appropriate name for this little fella.
Welcome Solo!
