Tricks and Treats
Two dozen "worm" cupcakes for Brody's Fall Celebration at Preschool
One excited boy - this one loves the limelight
While Logan could be found in the corner happily munching through the goodies.
We awoke to a spooky fog creeping through our farm.
And Brody's preschool performance wil soon follow...

October fun
What does one do with 40 lb of apples? Make apple butter.
Love my canner.
Lovely fall sunsets.
a group effort - our Haunted Gingerbread House.
I was on my way down the stairs when I spied these snugglers. Brody was "protecting" Bubba from a dragon.

I just have to share this ridiculously adorable picture of my niece, Claire. She is nearly a month old, and we finally get to meet in 10 days!

Pumpkin Patch 2010
Yesterday was a cooler-than-usual-day, but a perfect day for pickin' pumpkins.
The boys enjoyed the little tot play area while waiting for our tractor ride to the pumpkin patch.
The kids were just as thrilled as we were to be there - really they were!
Helping Daddy determine if this is the one. It was!
Heading to the tractor with their picks.
Back at the patch - it took several attempts to find a decent picture.
They quickly deteriorated.
I thought we were done by now.
But they wanted individual shots.
My pumpkin-head.
Pumpkinfest 2010
Last weekend concluded Pumpkinfest in Damariscotta. There were beautifully carved and painted pumpkins, pumpkin tossing, a parade, and even a pumpkin regatta. We just attended the children's events..a little street fair with games and prizes.
Logan hit the jackpot on this one - he won 15 tickets!
And then promptly hit his brother.
And screamed through his time out.

Weekend happenings
So last weekend signalled the end of our apple-picking frenzy. With near 50 pounds of apples in my house at one time, my cupboards will soon be full of applesauce and applebutter.
And our bellies are bursting with apples.
After a little power struggle about naptime, and my subsequent refusal to read Brody a book as punishment, this is what I found. My little bookworm.
Dad reading to his boys.
While Logan and I sped to Rockport for a doctor's appointment (hate cold season), a little fairy sprinkled these beauties around the house.
He even visited the boys' rooms.
Brody the builder...hasn't he grown?
