Kimi

You may notice above a donation site for our good friend Kimi.  She has recently had surgery to a cancerous tumor on her brain.  This is Kimi's fourth round with cancer.  She is the strongest person I know, and continues to fight this battle with such courage and grace.  This next treatment will cost over $6000 to fund, and we all would appreciate any donations made towards this.  To donate, simply click on the button at the top of this page.

Happy Easter!!

We had a wonderful time at the Easter Party organized by the Evening Star Grange in our town.

Neither rain nor snow nor sleet could keep us away - and yes, all 3 kinds of precip were present.

Outside - finally!

We finally made it outdoors - sans snow.  For the most part.  These pictures are from a few weeks ago - my camera has died, and now I am using Duane's - apologies for picture quality. Not quite used to his camera.

New additions

We welcomed two new babies to our farm last week.  Not human ones, but bovine in nature.

and Tulip.

Both were named by Brody.  Thank goodness they were girls.  His second choice was Hayeater.-

Visitors

We enjoyed a week of family when Grandmommy, Gigi and baby Claire arrived.  Who knew Brody would be so smitten with a baby?  Then again, who wouldn't be smitten with the likes of Claire?

Stunning, isn't she?  You would be amazed at the volume of her (happy) not-so-little voice.
