Magic beans

A few weeks ago, I was making a futile effort to weed our garden.  The boys were restless, so I suggested they help pull out our old bean plants.  Brody split some pods open to find "seeds."  Which was following by a brother-team-planting effort.  There was digging, planting, and house-erecting.  And lots of watering.   Enough to occupy them for an hour, anyways.  

Yesterday, we went to check on their "plants" - and Logan squeaks that they have grown.  I am thinking the weeds had enjoyed all the water, but lo and behold...

Storyland 2012

We surprised the boys with a trip to Storyland, that wonderful little mecca of amusement parks in Glen, NH. It was our second trip to Storyland, and the trip was just as wondrous as our first.  Here is a pictorial guide to our trip
