Have a Holly Jolly Christmas

We all hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas, and Brody wanted to share his sentiments as well (pardon the vacant look in Logan's eyes...we are the household of the winter cold ick)

Brotherly love

more snow!

Over a foot of snow fell last Sunday, and Brody was eager to help dig us out.

Snow Day

Several inches of snow fell today - seemed like a good excuse to bake and play...notice the crumbs around the mouth in this picture

Brody asked for his bulldozer and dump truck, which I had put away for the winter. Silly mom didn't realize snow was much better to play in than sand.

Fall photo

This is from a session with our very talented local photographer, Kim Fenn. She needed a subject to practice on her new backdrop - lucky us!

O Christmas tree

a constant source of temptation

let it snow!

We had beautiful, fat fluffy snow yesterday, and the boys
really needed some exercise, I mean, Brody really needed some exercise

Brody was so eager to shovel....

Logan was not so eager for his sled ride

Hailey was grateful for some snow to eat.

Polar Express

We had the most memorable adventure Saturday night -

we all boarded the Polar Express in Rockland, Maine. And to what his wondering eyes did appear, but the train of Brody's dreams. It was his absolute dream come true to ride on the train in his PJ's with Bubba and mom and dad, all the way to the North Pole, where Santa boarded the train, too, and listened to each child's wishes.

House tour

So here is Logan's new room

And the view of our living room/greenhouse...the living room has an open 2 story ceiling to the main floor.

And here is Brody's room

And the view into the sitting room, which is in front of the boys' bedrooms and next to our master suite.

And the front of our new home

What an adventure! Brody was thrilled to see Santa and inform him that he would like Rolly and Harold the Helicopter, and this picture captures the mere second betweem Logan's hysterics (I swear he is my little sister reincarnated!)

Welcome Baby Riley

We welcomed our newest family member on November 20 - Riley Marie Foster, born to Sarah (Brody and Logan's big sis) and Ben (soon to be big brother-in-law). Wish we had more pics with her proud uncles, but they were less than careful with her and took all our hands to contain them (escpecially a very jealous Logan)

Thanksgiving 2008

Logan's first Thanksgiving - yum?

Dad and his boys

Logan also learned to clap on Thanksgiving, or maybe he was so thanksful for his parents' skills in the kitchen (yeah, right)

Dad and Brody veggin' ...during the very sacred Tom and Jerry show they share each night.

November

This was Logan's last night in his baby tub - his expression reminds me of one of my baby pics at about his age.
So Brody has decided he needs to pump, too...

Renegade Turkeys heading for the hills before Thanksgiving (actually, they parade through our lawn often)

The happiest moment of Brody's dear life...on the tractor with Dad.

Halloween...rockets and pumpkins

Brody and Logan enjoyed Halloween in Washington - we visited just a smattering of neighbors and attended a small kids gathering at the local library (Brody's favorite, aside from the candy). Brody now wants to wear his costume dailly for "more candy"...not happenin', bud.

Logan had this incredibly serious expression throughout the night...or he may have been really embarrassed about his costume.

Windows!

Our windows for our new house arrived a little earlier than expected -we are so excited! They are pure indulgence - cost as much as my car, I think...

More pumpkins

Dad said Brody could bring home any pumpkin he could carry...so he tried rolling a few, but had to settle for one his size (dad got the really big one)
