Dear Winter

Dear Winter,

please leave.

and yes, this snow is falling today.

It's nearly April people.

And this is nuts.

Happy St. Patty's Day

 We began our day with some green clover pancakes to ward of pinching leprechauns

And we wore plenty of green to protect ourselves as well...Brody has had a slight fear of little green men since they raided Gigi's classroom last year.

Logan also had his cute green shirt from Grandmommy on....until he took a back dive off the picnic table. Wardrobe change ensued.

Ninjas

Some kind friends gave Brody the Magic Treehouse series for Christmas, and the first one we read was about Ninjas. 

It took a few weeks for the story to sink in, but now both boys are in full-ninja mode, complete with swords (either windmills or plastic golf clubs slide down the back of shirts)

Farewell Hailey

May 5, 2000 - March 7, 2011

Hailey was the first dog I have been fully responsible for, from  birth onwards.  In fact, she was my parenting project - housetraining was the first step towards child-rearing, apparently.

We so deeply enjoyed our time with her, and never realized how deeply woven she was in the fabric of our daily lives til she was gone. 

Thank you, Hailey bug, for all the adventures.
